About Me

I'm James,
A Product Designer and UX Specialist with over 10 years of experience spanning automotive, consumer products, medical devices, and digital platforms. With a background in industrial design and a passion for human centered solutions, I create functional, intuitive experiences that blend form and function.

I currently design for Equity Forge, where I help lead UX for a platform supporting startups with talent marketplaces and equity management. I also consult for MyEdMaster, improving educational tools through cleaner UI and more intuitive UX. Previously, I led key design initiatives at ExamPrep.ai, where I redesigned user workflows, crafted personas, and integrated AI-driven features.

Outside of product work, I teach as an Associate Professor, guiding industrial design students through Senior Thesis, Pro-Practice, and Physical & Digital Product Design. I'm fluent in tools like Figma, Sketch, and Adobe XD—and never far from a motorcycle or sketchpad.Currently, I’m a Product Designer for DemocracyLab, where I collaborate with a talented UX team to optimize the website for tech-for-good projects, and I’m consulting for MyEdMaster LLC to resolve UI issues and improve their platform's design.
